Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy per therapist’s directions and plan of care
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and prosthetic training
• Use physical agents like heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
• Instruct on the use of mobility and orthotic devices
• Monitor and report patient reactions and condition changes
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited CAPTE-approved PTA program with current licensure
• At least 1 year of PTA experience
• Home health experience preferred
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
