Qualifications

• PTA license required or license-eligible in state employed.
• Ability to provide compassionate therapy in a sub-acute/skilled nursing setting.
• Strong teamwork with rehab therapists and nursing staff.
• Experience with electronic documentation is preferred.
• Attention to detail and timely documentation.
• Good collaboration and communication within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Possess a current PTA license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and experience with electronic documentation.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.

A full-time Physical Therapy Assistant, (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Middleboro, MA. Schedule must include weekends. 3 days Friday-Sunday (or) Saturday-Monday. Will consider 4 days Friday-Monday, Thursday-Sunday or Saturday-Tuesday.

The Hannah B G Shaw Home is a quaint forty bed residential and sixty-seven bed skilled 5-star facility located in Middleboro, MA. Our rehab center brings together the foremost rehab physician groups, nurses, therapists, and clinicians to offer South shore residents extraordinary rehab care in a beautiful home like environment. The facility was established under the will of the late Hannah Bartlett Griffith Shaw and opened its doors to twelve residents in 1941 as a not-for-profit corporation. Our 15-bed skilled rehab unit with high majority of orthopedic patient's allow for individualized treatment sessions and flexible scheduling. We are a close nit rehab team with a spacious state of the art rehab gym looking for motivated therapists with SNF experience to join our team!

Requirements

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.
