Sigma Health Rehab, located in New York, NY, is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Current New York State PTA License.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care setting preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist.
• Measure & record resident’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Observe and document resident performance.
• Treat residents with techniques like stretching and massage; assist with exercises.
• Maintain resident confidentiality.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with the healthcare team.
