Job summary

Apploi in Topeka, KS seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the licensed Physical Therapist in patient treatment plans and to provide direct care to residents under supervision. You will document resident progress toward goals, teach exercises to residents and families, and assist with orthotic or prosthetic devices as needed.

You must hold an APTA-accredited associate degree and be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant; shift work may be required and compliance

PTA SUMMARY

• Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist with a patient's treatment program in accordance with federal guidelines and state practice acts.

PTA ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PTA ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

PTA PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT

• Shift work may be required. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear.
