Job summary

Powerback is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to work in an in-facility setting. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered. The team focuses on physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies to help older adults stay active and thrive.

Responsibilities include implementing PT programs, following recovery plans, delivering therapy, and collaborating with the rehab team to achieve patient goals. Licensure eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing physical therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and refer to other care as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.You're a teammate and is looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.You know that being a Physical Therapist Assistant means putting patients first; ensuring patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!
