Job summary

The Gardens at Monroe is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team and help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This per diem position offers comprehensive medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and generous PTO.

Responsibilities include providing treatments under PT supervision, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program (AS or BS) recognized by APTA.
• Active state PTA license/registration as required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and safely assist patients.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and mat treatments; transport patients as needed.
