Job summary

Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver skilled rehabilitation services to residents in their homes. The PTA will operate under the direct supervision and guidance of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and promote recovery and independence.

Responsibilities include applying rehabilitation modalities prescribed by physicians, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team to support residents’

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Overview:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment and under the direct supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. The PTA administers comprehensive physical therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.
