Powerback Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Elk Grove Care, a 136-bed facility with a fast-paced short-term rehab focus. You will implement PT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location/work environment: Elk Grove Care is a high-performing, 136-bed SNF maintaining a high 97% occupancy rate, offering physical therapists a dynamic and fast-paced setting. The diverse caseload focuses heavily on short-term rehab and clinical outcomes, with a strong emphasis on post-surgical ortho, stroke motor control, complex wound care, and post-fracture balance training. Therapists utilize a comprehensive gym equipped to facilitate swift transitions back to the community - with data showing a successful 59.4% return-to-home rate for short-term patients.

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

Status: this is a Full Time PTA position.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
