Namaste Home Health and Hospice is seeking an amazing Part Time PTA to join our NW/Arvada team. You will provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed PT and according to the physician's plan of care.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team in a growing home health network across Colorado. Prior PTA experience and CAPTE approval are valued, with CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed PTA with CAPTE-approved program.
• Must have CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with an automobile insured per state requirements.
• Must be licensed in the state where the HHA is located.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy according to the supervising PT and physician's plan of care.
• Instructs patients in therapeutic exercises, gait and functional training, and transfer activities.
• Monitors patient responses and reports changes to the PT.
• Maintains clinical notes and records within prescribed time frames.
• Participates in team meetings and in-service education.

Providing life changing service to our Colorado communities starts with our amazing and compassionate employees!Namaste Home Health and Hospice is looking for an amazing, experienced Part Time PTA to join our team in the NW/Arvada territory!JOB SUMMARYThe physical therapist assistant provides physical therapy services under the direction of the physical therapist and according to the physician's plan of care.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvides direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.Treats patient to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training.Utilizes physical agents, including, but not be limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage.Observes and reports to the physical therapist and the Organization personnel the patient’s reaction to treatment and any changes in patient’s condition.Instructs patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.Maintains necessary records; clinical notes and conference notes, which will be incorporated into the patient’s clinical record in prescribed time frames.Participates in Organization Home Care Team Members meetings and Organization in-service Education Program.Performs other duties as assigned.The above statements are only meant to be a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by the employee of this job.
