Live Well Homecare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to collaborate with physical therapists to plan and implement mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion programs for patients.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, documenting sessions, and maintaining professional standards; licensure and BLS are required, and strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

• Select appropriate activities to progress patient goals.
• Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and refer to community resources.
• Document treatment sessions and complete required reports.

• Engage in professional development, training, and comply with mandatory education requirements.
