Job Summary

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at HCA Healthcare, you’ll improve the lives of patients by providing individualized care that restores mobility and independence. You will receive opportunities for growth, educational assistance, and scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Work closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence.
• Provide weekend coverage for expanding inpatient rehab services.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) in the state of Missouri.
• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
