Job summary

HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support patient mobility and independence through individualized care. You will work with PTs and the care team to deliver high-quality therapies and participate in education and home exercise programs.

You will provide therapeutic exercises, assistive devices training, and progress monitoring while contributing to a culture of excellence and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support

Responsibilities

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care
• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs
• Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence

Job Summary and Qualifications
