Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient therapy teams. Under the supervision of a physical therapist, you will treat a wide variety of patients across the lifespan.

The PTA provides goal-directed treatment, documents care, and supports patient growth while upholding confidentiality and department policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved physical therapy assistant program.
• 1–2 years' hospital experience preferred; entry-level considered.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA).

Responsibilities

• Carry out physical therapy care programs under supervision of the Physical Therapist and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Provide goal-directed treatment and related documentation for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Follow department policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
