Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Licensed PTA in the state(s) of practice.
• BLS certification required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide, monitor and record therapy services to patients/residents with physical, cognitive or developmental impairments.
• Select, implement, and modify therapeutic activities to align with treatment goals.
• Document responses and communicate with the physical therapist during intervention.
• Follow clinical practice guidelines and maintain standard of care.
