Job summary

Coastal Orthopedics is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role focuses on helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in a modern clinic setting.

You will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists and a dedicated clinical team, providing patient-centered care and participating in ongoing professional growth opportunities. A Monday–Friday schedule and a sign-on bonus are highlighted in the job listing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Orthopedic or outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and other treatment interventions.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on exercises, home programs, proper techniques, and injury prevention.
• Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and overall function.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide a positive, compassionate patient experience throughout the course of treatment.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support excellent patient outcomes.
