Job summary

Smith County Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. You will support residents' strength, mobility, and confidence in a team-oriented setting while adhering to professional guidelines and privacy standards.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary staff, supervise rehab technicians as needed, and participate in care conferences to ensure quality, compliant patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.
• Valid state Physical Therapy Assistant license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and contributing to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment per the established plan of care.
• Provide direct supervision to rehab technicians when required.
• Coordinate with the Director of Rehabilitation and PT.
• Document accurately and timely per state/federal guidelines.
• Integrate therapy services into facility and interdisciplinary plans.
