West Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work with a compassionate team providing high-quality patient care in our nursing center. The PTA will assist licensed therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans, monitor progress, and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in Pennsylvania
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work under supervision of licensed PT

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans with exercises and modalities
• Carry out physical therapy treatments under supervision
• Monitor and record patient progress and adjust plans as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and care team
• Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings
