Kona Medical Consulting is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with Home Health experience to join the Home Health team in Texas. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver care, improve mobility, reduce pain, and support recovery.

Responsibilities include guiding patients through exercises, using equipment, monitoring progress, documenting notes, and educating patients and families for at-home care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program (accredited).
• Must have prior home health experience.
• Licensure or certification as required by the state of employment.
• Familiarity with therapy equipment and techniques.
• Strong communication, empathy, and patience in dealing with patients of various conditions and ages.
• Ability to lift and support patients and remain active throughout the workday.

• Assist in carrying out physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Use specialized equipment to aid in patient recovery and rehabilitation.

• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment.
• Report any significant changes in a patient's condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
