Virtua Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitative treatments under a licensed physical therapist. You will assist with plan-of-care execution and monitor patient progress, documenting outcomes accurately.

The role requires an accredited PTA associate degree and current New Jersey licensure, plus CPR certification. You will collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Physical Therapy Assistant Associate degree from an APTA-accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Consults with medical, ancillary professionals and other team members to provide optimum patient care and effective operations.
• Provides physical therapy interventions per the plan of care and provides feedback on patient status.
• Maintains and completes patient records, reports and documentation according to guidelines.
• Utilizes aides and support staff effectively.
• Communicates with patient and family, providing education and materials appropriate to age, condition and culture.
