Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing physical therapy programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You address the whole patient as an individual, execute rehabilitation programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, adapt to patient needs, collaborate with peers, and ensure high‑quality, compassionate service. You may also make referrals to support patient care.
