Timberwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Livingston, TX, is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team and support post-acute and geriatric care.

You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative treatment, apply evidence-based practices, and collaborate to tailor care plans for individual patients. We welcome new grads and value a values-driven approach to care.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
• New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use under supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
