Job summary

Goldsboro Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive treatment to residents and manage progress notes in line with state guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold a BA or AS in Physical Therapy (APTA recognized) and current NC licensure/registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of a PT per state guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab.
• Document daily participation and progress with progress notes and PT cosignature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Attend facility rehab meetings as indicated and support the interdisciplinary team.
• Cover other therapists' caseload during absences and supervise PTA students as needed.
