Southeast Orthopedic Specialists in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support our orthopedic team. You will assist licensed therapists in delivering treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, document care, and help maintain a safe, efficient clinic.

Candidates must hold Florida PTA certification and be able to stand for long periods; join a leading practice committed to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Completion of all requirements and a current Florida PTA certification.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Compliance with federal, state, local, and JCAHO regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and patient interaction skills; ability to instruct and motivate patients.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and directives.
• Guide and encourage patients through therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living, and use of devices.
• Provide patient education on wellness and therapeutic regimens.
• Document patient care accurately in medical records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment in compliance with infection-control and safety protocols.
• Monitor treatment trends, patient progress, and production objectives to support clinic efficiency.
• Contribute to the clinic’s reputation by taking ownership of patient care and exploring opportunities to enhance services.
