Responsibilities

The role of the Physical Therapy Assistant is to assist the Physical Therapists in providing quality patient care for patients aged neonate/infant (birth to 1 year), pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (12-18), adult (18-65 years), and geriatric (over 65 years); maintain documentation on patient treatments; demonstrate commitment to professional growth and development; provide health education to patients, families and other health care providers; apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interaction; and contribute to the efficient operations of the department.
