Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical services to residents under physician orders.
• Reports patient progress, complications, and response to treatment to the Physical Therapist.
• Assists the Physical Therapist in procedures, tests and complex treatments to ensure safe evaluation and treatment.
• Participates in continuing education for professional growth and development.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, facility, and physician information.
• Maintains daily accuracy of billing information according to procedures.
• Attends interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and recommendations to rehab team members.
• Attends family meetings as appropriate.
• Adheres to Rehabilitation department and facility documentation requirements.
• Conducts staff training and in-services as appropriate.
• Follows facility policies and Rehab Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Supervises non-professional staff as appropriate.
