Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Pennsylvania. This full-time role focuses on executing treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The PTA will work Monday through Friday in an outpatient setting, collaborating across departments to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program required.
• Current state PTA certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain effective communication with physicians, staff, and other departments.
• Execute patient care plans in full compliance with state board recommendations and guidelines.
• Respond to patient questions and inquiries to resolve problems and maintain high patient standards.
• Document treatments, patient progress, and other information in the medical record per state practice act.
• Integrate fully as a primary member of the treatment team for assigned caseloads.
• Comply with department policies and procedures, including OSHA and infection control regulations.
• Assist with training Physical Therapy Technicians as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is an integral member of the treatment team, responsible for executing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This full-time role involves working Monday through Friday in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
