Responsibilities
  • As a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant, you will deliver prescribed care to patients in accordance with the standards defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Kansas state regulations, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provides direction to clinical support staff.
  • Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
  • Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist assistant.
  • Must obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire date.
  • Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transferred into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the medical setting or a rehabilitation setting.
