A leading healthcare provider in Tallahassee is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to implement care plans, monitor resident progress, and assist in evaluations. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree and a valid PTA license. Join a supportive team committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Responsible for carrying out the care plan as designed by the Physical Therapist (PT) and assisting the PT during evaluations. Monitor residents' progress and communicate with the PT. Maintain documentation in the system of residents' activities, record progress, and document billing activities. Perform resident's home assessments as part of the discharge process as directed by the PT. Conduct resident screenings during admission, quarterly, and annual assessments to determine the need for therapy, as directed by the PT.
Requirements include an AA Degree from an APTA-accredited program and a current State of Florida PTA license. Two years of experience in a healthcare setting are preferred.
Associate Degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant.
Physical Therapy Assistant license.
