Job summary

Clinical Medical Services is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Care team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The PTA will provide intermittent in-home physical therapy according to physician orders and the care plan, under the supervision of a licensed PT.

The role requires graduation from a two-year PTA program (APTA approved) and current licensure in the practicing state, with at least 6 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
• At least 6 months experience.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this agency.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy to patients in their home per physician orders.
• Works under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.

Position Summary:

A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) administers physical therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Physical Therapist (PT).
