Job summary

The Pavilion at Piketon in Piketon, OH is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide compassionate, patient-centered therapy on a PRN basis. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility and function, while collaborating with nursing and care teams to achieve individual goals.

Ideal candidates hold an active PTA license in Ohio and an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy, with a passion for senior care and strong communication skills to support

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Document progress accurately and timely using facility systems.
• Partner with nursing, therapy, and care teams to support resident goals.
• Encourage residents with positivity, professionalism, and patience.
• Maintain equipment and treatment areas safely and efficiently.
