Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will assist in executing the therapy plan, document care accurately, and follow state practice acts.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA with license in the practicing state.
• Graduate of CAPTE-accredited program; foreign-trained if applicable must be deemed equivalent by a credential evaluation organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the Physical Therapy care plan/treatment as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician per State Practice Acts.
• Perform clinical tasks, documentation, and communication timely and accurately per policy.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
• Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings timely and successfully.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
