Job summary

Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, CO, is seeking a Physical Therapy Services Specialist in the Department of Surgery. The incumbent administers PT modalities, observes patient responses, and uses a wide range of PT equipment while delivering clear, multi-step instructions and preventive education to patients and staff.

One year of specialized experience is required; a PTA license is highly desirable but not required. Federal Direct Hire; recruitment/relocation incentives may apply.

About the Position

This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Directorate of Surgery, Department of Physical Therapy Services at Fort Carson, CO 80913. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Specialized Experience

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. A PTA License is highly desired but not required.
