Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will help patients improve mobility, function and overall quality of life by implementing individualized care plans.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising PT
• Perform therapeutic exercises, mobility training and transfer assistance
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation and traction
• Adjust treatments within scope based on patient response
• Observe and document patient response to treatment
• Report changes in condition, pain levels or safety concerns to the PT
• Collaborate with the care team to support positive outcomes
• Teach home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Support patients and caregivers in following the plan of care
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in EMR
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid and agency guidelines
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in the home
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Attend trainings and meet continuing education requirements
• Hold an associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Hold an active, unrestricted Colorado PTA license
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance
