Job summary

OrthoArizona in Chandler, AZ seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to support outpatient orthopedic care. You will assist in designing and implementing treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, document progress, and educate patients on home exercises. Travel to multiple clinics is required to ensure comprehensive care.

The role requires an PTA degree, current state licensure, and at least 1 year of outpatient experience, plus strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic PT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients as directed by the PT.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the PT regarding treatment plans.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Travel to different clinics and facilities as needed.
