Sharp HealthCare is seeking a patient-focused role within our rehabilitation services in California. You will assist therapists and therapy assistants with patient-related tasks, maintain equipment, manage inventory, and support front office duties to ensure smooth operations across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of healthcare experience, and American Heart Association BLS certification.

Shift End Time: 4:30 PM
AWS Hours Requirement: 8/40 - 8 Hour Shift
Additional Shift Information: Tuesday - Saturday
Weekend Requirements: As Needed

Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $25.000 - $25.000 - $29.590
This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU. In alignment with the SEIU CBA, this position will be posted for 7 days internally from 9.21.26 to 9.28.26 and available only to existing members of the ratified SEIU Bargaining Unit.
Assists therapists and therapy assistants in performance of patient-related tasks in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements. These services will be provided in settings across the entire continuum of care including inpatient acute care, inpatient acute rehabilitation, and outpatient services. Adheres to professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined by department expectations and professional organizations. Is responsible for cleaning and simple maintenance of equipment. Assists with maintenance of department inventory and ordering of general departmental supplies. Escorting patients and performance of some basic clerical duties may be required.

Responsible for equipment and supply inventory management including ordering, maintenance logs and cleaning schedules. Supports the Office Coordinator and Clerk/Receptionists with front office duties including faxing, answering phones, checking billing, checking in patients, filing, patient chart discharge processing, collecting copayments, scheduling, (Outpatient department only). Completes special projects and tasks assigned by supervisorsto facilitate the streamlined operationsof therapy services. Projects a positive attitude and demeanor with patients and colleagues fostering a remarkable patient experience.
Working knowledge of both inpatient and outpatientRehabilitation Services. Basic knowledge of the use of physical agents and modalities in the provision of patient care. Knowledge and proficiency of standard office equipment (i.e., fax, photocopier), personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong Customer Service skills.
