Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in kinesiology, physical therapy or healthcare.
• Two years' PT Aide experience preferred.
• Inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order.
• Change linens, bed sheets and pillow cases.
• Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
• Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss treatment.
• Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
• Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
