Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to support clinicians in delivering rehabilitative care to patients of all ages. You will prepare and restore treatment areas and equipment, monitor supplies, and assist with procedures under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma and American Heart Association BLS. One year of PT Aide experience is preferred. Work hours are 8am–4pm, with a collaborative, patient‑centered team dedicated to excellent care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Aide assists clinical staff during patient care activities in the administration of rehabilitative procedures and treatments of various types of geriatric, adult, adolescent, child and infant patients. Duties include: preparation/restoration of treatment areas and equipment; maintaining adequate supply levels through inventory monitoring and ordering; checking equipment used for safety standards, assisting front office personnel and other duties as assigned.

The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide
