Synaptic Rehabilitation in Bridgewater, NJ, seeks a reliable Physical Therapist Aide to join our outpatient team. The role supports licensed therapists, assists with patient care, and helps maintain a welcoming, efficient clinical environment.

This is an excellent entry point for those interested in rehabilitation, exercise science, or healthcare careers. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as the clinic grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or fitness setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Interest in physical therapy, exercise science, or healthcare field strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists during patient treatment sessions, including setup and monitoring of therapeutic exercises.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment before and after use.
• Support patients with mobility and positioning under the supervision of licensed staff.
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy as directed.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling, charting, and patient check-in as needed.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and safety at all times.
