Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) seeks a Physical Therapy Aide in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on patient transitions, front-office support, equipment prep, and maintaining clean, organized therapy areas. You will contribute to a positive clinic culture and assist therapists to ensure smooth patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare education or training is a plus.
• Healthcare experience in a clinical setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to assisting individuals in need.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when downtime occurs including answering the phone, scanning documents, scheduling patients, taking payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment; daily equipment cleaning, tables, laundry, stocking supplies.
