Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to assist in patient transitions to therapy areas, organize equipment, and support therapists with exercises.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, front-office tasks, and maintaining clean, efficient therapy spaces to ensure a positive patient experience across our West and Central U.S. clinics.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Prior healthcare setting experience or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to helping individuals.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Support a positive clinic environment and patient needs during transitions.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records and schedule appointments; handle billing tasks.
• Assist front office tasks when idle, including phones, document scanning, scheduling, and payments.
• Aid therapists by providing materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
