Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale, a 515-bed hospital between Burbank and Pasadena, seeks a Physical Therapy Aide for per diem day shifts in Glendale, CA. High school or GED is required; an associate degree is preferred; CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Associate’s/Technical Degree in physical therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy: Required

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy treatments, including modalities, manual techniques and common exercise techniques; guides patients through bed mobility, transfers and gait/balance activities.
• Observes treatment precautions and reports changes to supervising therapists, nurses or physicians.
• Documents patient interventions and chart notes in the acute care setting and communicates with the care team.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
