Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide for Inpatient Rehab. You will assist in preparing patients for treatments and transport them to and from the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department, supporting therapists to focus on professional duties.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification; one year in healthcare or service industry is preferred. You will work day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation as needed.

Location: Chelsea, MI
Schedule: Contingent (Non-Benefitted), Variable shifts, weekend and holiday rotation required
Assists in preparing patients for various treatments. Transports patient to and from the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. Performs routine tasks to free Registered Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants for attention to professional duties.
Education: Minimum of high school education or GED.
Experience: One year experience in health care setting or service industry preferred. Pursuance of a health care career preferred.
Certification/Licensure: CPR
Maintains good rapport and cooperative relationships. Approaches conflict in a constructive manner. Helps to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.
Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, colleagues, and visitors to Chelsea Hospital. Discusses patient and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.

Assumes responsibility for performance of job duties in the safest possible manner, to assure personal safety and that of coworkers, and to report all preventable hazards and unsafe practices immediately to management.
