Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our outpatient rehab team. The role involves greeting patients, assisting with intake and scheduling, and supporting clinicians in preparing treatment areas and equipment. You will help patients perform exercises and monitor progress under supervision.

The position offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy practices, with opportunities to grow into broader clinical support roles.

Qualifications

• Healthcare and/or customer service experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and appointments.
• Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and registration processes.
• Review paperwork, verify benefits, and complete medical forms for new patients.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, set up and adjust exercise equipment as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.

• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
