Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a patient-facing team member to greet patients, manage schedules, and assist clinicians in a high-volume multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating arrivals, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Bilingual in Spanish preferred; hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.50 with medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401k match, reflecting the firm’s competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to the prescribed therapy area.
• Inform the provider when patients arrive.
• Receive and manage the day’s schedule at the Therapy Center.
• Alert providers of schedule changes and prepare treatment areas.
• Prepare and set up equipment for treatments and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Monitor patients during treatment and confirm completion with the provider.
• Maintain teamwork and clear communication with staff in the therapy areas.
• Prepare hot packs, ice packs, and e-stimulation equipment; manage laundry.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.

The services we offer our patients are: Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, & Acupuncture. We treat a diverse variety of patients that includes sports-related injuries, post-surgical, elderly, desk workers, and much more.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort the patient to the prescribed therapy area
• Inform the provider when patients arrive
• Receive the day's schedule when arriving to the Therapy Center
• Alerting the provider of any schedule changes
• Preparing and setting up all equipment in the treatment areas
• Ensure patients are supervised properly while completing treatment
• Confirmation with provider that all treatment is completed
• Teamwork and communication with all co-workers in the Physical Therapy Treatment Areas
• Preparing hot packs, ice packs, e-stimulation machines
• Complete laundry throughout the day
• Maintain a safe and clean working and treatment area
• Preparing and setting up the equipment for the patients prior to their use
• Bilingual-Spanish Preferred
