Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to support patients and therapists in our Tukwila, Washington clinic. This part-time role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, administrative support, and a smooth patient experience.

The 25-hour work week runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, at 12101 Tukwila International Blvd. You will assist with transitions to therapy areas, equipment prep, records, scheduling, and front office tasks, while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Prior healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to aiding patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Provide customer service and support to ensure a positive clinic experience.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing.
• Support front office tasks when needed, including phones, scans, and payments.
• Aid therapists during sessions by providing materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment; daily cleaning and stocking.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: Highline Physical Therapy

Pay: $21.65/hr (benefits offered)

Schedule: Part time 25hrs/per week - clinic is open M-F 7am-6:30pm

Location: 12101 Tukwila International Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98168

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
