Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Aide for RWJUH Somerset Sports Physical Therapy in Bridgewater, NJ. The role supports physical therapists, helps with patient transfers, and maintains the treatment area.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification, with opportunities for additional hours across RWJ Somerset clinics. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and empathy in customer

Qualifications

• Required: HS diploma or GED (or equivalent) within one year of hire.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and muscle movement terminology; Physical Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and infection prevention.
• Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment.
• Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, electrical equipment.
• Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages.
• Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Qualifications

Required:
