Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its RehabAuthority brands are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide for our Santee, CA clinic. You’ll assist patients transitions to therapy areas, maintain records, and support front desk and billing tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

We value compassionate, detail‑oriented teammates with strong communication and a collaborative spirit. Full-time, weekday schedule 7am–6pm; compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Provide customer service and support clinic operations to maintain a positive environment.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain patient records, schedule appointments, and assist with billing.
• Assist front office tasks when downtime occurs, including phone coverage and chart scanning.
• Aid therapists during sessions with needed materials and facilitation of exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.

About The Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: RehabAuthority

Pay: $18-20/hr (based on experience & skill set)

Schedule: Full time - clinic is open M-F 7am-6pm

Location: 8790 Cuyamaca St, Santee, CA 92071

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
