Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

• Assist physical therapists with patient transfers onto and off treatment tables and with equipment.
• Maintain treatment area and set up equipment for therapy sessions.
• Retrieve equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, and electrical equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping and infection prevention tasks.
• Assist with clerical needs of the department such as answering phones and taking messages.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology.

Scheduling Requirements

• Per Diem
• Monday – Friday availability (morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available between 6:45AM to 9:30PM).
• Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations
