This position offers a part-time schedule (25 hrs/week) with a focus on comfort, safety, scheduling, billing, and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Prior healthcare setting experience or PT Aide preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive clinic culture by addressing patient needs during transitions.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and assist with billing.
• Support front office tasks during downtime (phone, scanning, scheduling, payments, filing).
• Aid therapists during sessions by providing materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment; daily cleaning.

About The Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: Spine & Sport Physical Therapy

Pay: $16.90/hr

Schedule: Part-time 25hrs/per week - clinic is open Mon/Weds/Friday 7am-5pm Tues/Thurs 8am-6pm

Location: 1449 W Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92868

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
