Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to support patient care and learn hands-on healthcare skills in a collaborative setting. You will assist with check-in, scheduling, and onboarding, while helping prepare treatment areas and equipment.

Gaining exposure to physical therapy workflows, you will monitor progress, support home exercise programs, and contribute to a supportive patient experience. This role offers mentorship and growth opportunities within the therapy team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients during check-in and throughout appointments.
• Support efficient patient intake and scheduling and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits and collect medical forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas and set up exercise equipment for therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team; assist patients with home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
